Insurance and Accreditation
Allsop has instilled a culture that ensures we continue to offer a best in class service proposition to our clients across a number of different workstreams. The accreditation we have obtained through 25+years as a property manager speaks for itself.
We are regulated by RICS and are active members of the BPF, ARMA, ARLA, IRPM and ARL. Additionally, we have established a Primary Authority Partnership, the only one of its type, to ensure our H&S approach, particularly surrounding fire safety, is of the highest calibre.

Insurance
Allsop maintains comprehensive insurance coverage across several key areas. We hold Professional Indemnity Insurance with a six-year run-off period, ensuring continued protection for past professional services. Our Employers’ Liability Insurance provides cover up to £10 million, while our Public Liability Insurance offers protection up to £5 million. In addition, we have Cyber Insurance with a value of £5 million to safeguard against digital threats. We also maintain Directors and Officers Insurance to support and protect our leadership team in the course of their duties.
Procurement
We manage a robust onboarding process for all our contractors and suppliers. This includes ensuring that any new contractors and suppliers understand our business and site priorities to ensure consistency of brand and service. Once onboarded with all of the correct memberships, insurances and qualifications a senior member of the management team for each portfolio works closely with the site staff or property managers to monitor day-to-day performance. This includes monitoring feedback from residents, spend and reaction times. Where appropriate regular feedback meetings will be held with the contractors or suppliers to ensure open lines of communications are maintained. When a maintenance job or supplier order is confirmed, this will be input or updated in our PMS. Initially all potential cost liabilities are reviewed by a Property Manager or relevant member of the site team and if there are any concerns as to cost, performance or repeat attendance for the same issue, no works will be instructed until this is addressed. When the order has been fulfilled, the invoice is checked by a member of staff, separate to the team, who will flag any inconsistencies with the relevant Property Manager or General Manager who can then follow up with the contractor or supplier directly to ensure that all costs are run through checks by a minimum of 2 members of staff to ensure QC. This is in addition to our invoice spend authorisation limits within our PMS.

Urban Land Institute NAEA The Property Ombudsman TDS UK SFA Living Wage Employer Allsop also hold a Primary Authority Partnership with Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service. Allsop are members of The Property Ombudsman for redress.
